Craig and I take a trip down memory lane, most of the weekends for the years we were at College between 1997-1998 we would play videogames over at each others house.
We would often share controllers and games as we were of course poor college students. One of the biggest games to come out was Goldeneye which we played almost religiously learning all the weapons and spawn locations in the multiplayer maps and completely all the difficultys in the campaign.
Later I went off to University and Craig stayed in Lincoln for a bit until deciding to join us at the same university. At this point Rare had announced a follow up game but no longer in the Bond universe. This game would later be revealed as Perfect Dark, a spiritual successor with a female lead in place of Bond. This proved as successful as Goldeneye and actually had vibes of the TV Shows of the time like X-Files which is all set for a limited reboot. Again Craig and I plus his housemates (and our long terms friends) proceeded to play the game to destruction while fuelled by cheap pizza. So join us as we relive some past glories and wonder how we survived the poor frame rates and dodgy controllers of the time.
